  • What is a consignment store?

    A clothing consignment store is a retail shop where individuals can bring gently used clothing items to be sold on their behalf. The store then sells these items and takes a percentage of the sale price as commission, with the remaining amount going to the original owner.

  • What is the seller return rate?

    Each item pays its own GST once sold (15%). After this is removed, the seller will receive 40% of the sale price.

  • Which brands are accepted at Calli Preloved?

    We currently accept all clothing brands except Shein.

    All items must be gently worn, freshly laundered, and not require any repairs (check buttons, seams and zips).

  • How long are items on the racks for?

    Items have a three month rotation which begins when they enter the store floor. After three months, items are reduced by 30% or returned to the seller.

  • What is the store returns policy?

    Our return policy states that items can be returned up to seven days after purchase, and store credit is given to the customer. This is because it is hard to ensure preloved items are returned in the same condition they are sold in, and because the seller has already received their payout for the sale.

  • How can I be more sustainable with my fashion choices?

  • How and when do sellers get paid?

    The previous months payout is processed on the first Monday of each month. Receipts for these payouts are sent the same day, and account balances on the portal are settled. Your payout is then transferred into your bank account via direct debit on the Wednesday after.
